Bah.
The 12 days (according to Christianity) are the 12 days between Dec. 25th (the birth of Christ) and Jan 6th (The Magi's supposed arrival with the gifts), not prior to the day. In fact in Puerto Rico, the kids receive a small gift yesterday, and get the majority of their loot Jan 6th.

I guess I can give some. We will have our big bash when Feather is here, but I got a pic of each of us (minus myself) opening things. Dan got a pic of me he wants to post though.
Here is another picture of Zepboy http://cityguide.aol.com/philadelphia/trendsZep opening a gift:
When evil is allowed to compete with good, evil has an emotional populist appeal that wins out unless good men & women stand as a vanguard against abuse.
Just arrived home from bloody work so a wee post before I return in full this evening.
I have to admit that this place is my second home and it's been such a pleasure seeing other people's festive pix here, my second 'family' for sure.
Anyway, more pix to follow I'm afraid as Boxing day was such a blast.
Here's the definitive Grandson pic to tide you over , I think his t-shirt slogan (and his 'rock' attitude) says it all .

Very nice Elfie but where's the sticks to play the thing?
Finally I have the time for a recap of the Ogg Christmas.
We usually get up so early so it was odd that only I was up at 6am, almost two hours before Mrs Ogg put in an appearance. Both Tabs and Josh came down at 8:15am after opening their xmas stockings together in Josh's bedroom.
I thought it was touching that they both agreed to wait for Jamey and Connor to arrive before attacking the presents but they didnt get here until 9:30am so the strain was beginning to show. It wasn't all that enjoyable waiting for them to arrive while dressed in the full Father Chrstmas suit either, so it was with some relief that, upon my cue of 'I wonder if Santa has arrived?' I knocked on the sitting room door and walked in to see the look of utter incomprehension on Connors face .
After a few hearty 'Ho Ho Ho's' I opened my sack and dished out a present for everyone, um, present and still Connor didnt recognise me! I attempted to get him to approach me but he was having none of it and when I delivered yet another 'Ho Ho Ho' it startled him and he began to cry...aaaw. Exit one bemused Santa only for Grandad to arrive moments later and Connor flew into my arms, he 'talked' at length about his new 'Woody' from Santa...another aaaw.
Anyway, I'm waffling. Everyone was happy with their pressie haul and the late opening prompted our eventual Christmas dinner at 4pm (usually at midday). Such a chilled vibe throughout the day and Connor really was an angel and made it special for us all.
One thing I remember is that we (as usual) had Christmas Carols playing throughout the morning but the stereo didnt stop for the whole day, no one even looked to turn on tv and that made it for me...we even listened to our annual 'The Queen's Speech' on the radio .
Boxing Day was equally as chilled as xmas day but with the added addition of my Sister and Nephew (back from Germany for xmas for the frst time in three years) and my future son-in-law. What a nice day .

My fav' of Connor and Mrs Ogg
and again
