I have a better pic of it on my computer at home but I am at the library. Perhaps I will remember to post it later.

Police identify victim in suspicious death

Dec 11, 2006 10:12 AM PST

Spokane, WASH -- The man found dead in a home in northeast Spokane on Sunday has been identified as 38-year-old Douglas A. Penfield.

His body was found around 2:30 p.m. by a roommate at his home on the 5900 block of N. Regal Street. Police say they know very little else about the death. They say the investigation is continuing.

Detectives and forensics units were on scene all afternoon and into the morning hours.

A neighbor says the people who lived there had just moved in.

More on this............................ The name looked familiar, and I remembered on of the 4 set's of twins I went to school with. Doug was one of them. I was not really friends with Doug, but we knew who we were. He also went to a few of my early Sanctum gigs.
His Brother Dennis is in prison. Doug had an arrest record a mile long, and was known to sell drugs too. No wonder he was found with a coat over his head, and bullet caseings all around him.
Still makes me mad that someone was shot to death near my mom's place.

General Hugh Mercer, a general in the Revolutionary War, was
killed at the Battle of Princeton in 1777. He was a doctor who had
fled Scotland after the Battle of Culloden, where he had
supported the Stuart cause.

This bronze statue of General Mercer was erected in 1906 by
the United States Government. The sculptor was Edward
Valentine of Richmond Virginia
, who did the famous reclining
statue of Robert E. Lee at Washington and Lee University.

General George S. Patton (of World War II fame) was a great,
great, great, grandson of Hugh Mercer.

Very nice pics from all, i have none & do not know how to post even if i did lol. I really LOVE those Scotland pics, the Architecture in your town is very beautiful. I have a friend that lives in Scotland, around Bonnie, have known him for almost 8 years now. We have sent packages to each other of stuff from our countries etc. He has called me a few times as well lol, i love the Scottish accent, but hard to understand at times. I want to send him another package or Parcel as you all call them soon, but do not know what to put in it this time. He says he wants sweeties, but we have so many to choose from here lol. I have always loved Scotland, i do have a little Scottish in me, i am hoping to visit one day, i really want to see some real castles.

And now on to the Kilt topic :-D My friend says they are the most itchy & uncomfortable things on earth. He does not even own one, they are used kind of like Tux's are here i nthe US. You rent them if needed for a special occasion, like a wedding or dance etc. So not many actually own a Kilt now days.
"Like a flower in the desert that only blooms at night i will quietly resist I dont have faith in faith i dont believe in beliefs you can call me faithless i still kling to hope & i believe in love and thats faith enough for me."
