That you do, Zed.
I'll never forget the Lowe's TV commercial where Jeff is "introducing"
Jimmie Johnson to America...
He looks at Jimmie and says:
"Are you ready to win, Jimmie?"
The rest, they say, is HISTORY.
If Jimmie wasn't making Jeff and Rick H. so dirty-rotten-filthy-stinking-rich,
Jeff would be eating his words now. lol

This weekend, crew chief Steve Letarte and the No. 88 team will unload
Hendrick Motorsports Chassis No. 88-617. Jeff Gordon most recently
raced this car to an 11th place finish at Dover (Del.) International
Speedway last September.
In 193 Cup starts on intermediate (one to two-mile) tracks, Earnhardt has
recorded six wins, six pole positions, 38 top-five finishes and 71 top-10s.

From ESPN.com:
I don't have to say any more...Yes, things have changed in the off week. But for many fans, Bristol today isn't quite as much fun as it was a few years ago.
Since the repaving in 2007, Bristol is a kinder and gentler place than it was before. The bumping and banging that fans loved about the place doesn't happen as much.
A driver such as Marcos Ambrose, front, used to be able to stay competitive at Bristol despite having a torn-up car. Now you need to be able to keep the fenders on it like Kyle Busch did last March to earn a top-10. Ambrose limped home 33rd.
"Bristol is a lot different than it used to be," Kevin Harvick said. "You are going to have a lot of green-flag runs. It's a much easier race track to drive on now."
All I can say is that 103 laps of the Spring race last year was under
caution, so I don't know what race everybody else was watching
that day.
There's also no mention of the "boys have at it" ruling that will come into
play.
I think the ruling - and the new point structure - will make things
interesting (again) at Bristol. We'll see....if you decide to watch it.

BTW - did I mention that Dale Jr's 10th in points after 3 races? He's
actually GAINING positions during the race instead of losing them now.
He's also improved his average finish (after 3 races) from 17th (last year
with "Magruber") to 14th this year under Steve Letarte.
That's what the stat keepers call improvement.![:-D](./images/smilies/003.gif)
