Now comes the fun part- how far do you suspend him- allow no contact with the Pats? Allow him to do his job up to Sunday? Make him work at Old Country Buffet?

I say appoint Matt Millen as your GM.
![:-D](./images/smilies/003.gif)
Brady would like that, think of all the wideouts you would draft.

Apparently here's the rule:
You can't use videocameras to tape things to help you in the game being played.
However, all teams have cameras on coaches to pick up tendencies for future meetings.
So here is where Belichick's "interpretaion of the rule" explanation comes into play:
How can it be proven the tape was going to be used that game?
Makes the commissioner's decision a little tougher.
Maybe that is why there is no talk of a forfeit.

$500K fine for Belichick
$250K fine for the Pats
1st Rounder in 08 if they make the playoffs, 2nd or 3rd rounder if they do not.
(A little light if you ask me)
Oh, and Siggy, I love the fact the Patriots haters are piling on the fan, like their football teams don't do the same thing.
Glass houses people....

Why didn't they just smack him on the hand, take his camera and send
him to his room?
That's friggin' LUNCH MONEY for Belichick and Kraft.
Sheesh.
Trust me Brudda Z, I get no love HERE being a Colts fan.
Too close to Baltimore....They're still bitter up there.

Let me clarify one point- I didn't mean videotaping the signals as what other teams do, I mean that coaches watch other coaches for tendencies as to what plays to run. Belichick was wrong in his "interpretation" of how the rule was. He got caught, he's paying for it.
Do I think it was steep enough? No- I would have maybe gone two years with the draft picks- that way if someone had a thought of doing this again, they would think twice because the penalty could be three years of draft picks.
You can't suspend him, his fingerprints would be all over the planning of the game. He may not be there, but his gameplan would be in place.

All I can say is:
We'll see how 'smart' they play on a level field.

And don't you think the Pats will look to blow the Bolts out of the water Sunday night?
(Monday morning is going to suck workwise)
EDIT- AND
I think the Bolts will change all of their signalling also...
