That stage is really big. Almost needed a bullhorn to get the count to start each song huh?

Last night's gig was me as the soundman. I got a call from my nephews in the afternoon saying, "Uncle Matt, the place we're playing tonight said they'd have a PA for us. And they just told us today that they won't! Can you bring your PA and do sound for us?"
So, that's exactly what I did. And I tried hard to keep my mits off the "suck" knob. Actually, they sounded great! Much more polished than in the videos I've posted. They're hoping to record this week and have a CD to sell at their two shows this coming weekend.
They also just asked if Midlife Crisis would be their wram up band this coming Saturday night. I thought that soudned fun, but our drummer couldn't do it. He thought he could but then his wife informed him otherwise. Grrr. There's a slim chance we'll do it with a fill-in drummer, which sounds scary to me.
