Augie,

I wonder two things: first, what is your response to my response to your last set of posts? (Please forgive me if you are formulating it and just haven't gotten to posting it as of this time.) Second, how do you propose to ged off welfare if a national healthcare were passed, seeing as you are unable to work.

My mother has a disease that is very costly both physically and financially. She also has what would almost be the equivalent of what you want to have for healthcare. She is a veteran and the VA takes care of her (minus dental and optical). Anyhow, although she does not have to pay for her healthcare, she is still poor because she cannot work. It isn't the government keeping her in poverty, it is her lack of ability to work.
