Thankee, Liam! :D

As for the birfieday celebrations, you will likely be most disappointed. We had my party on the day before. After church my husband picked up zas and icey cream and my parents, my godmother, my nephew who is up here visiting us, and my nuclear family were all in attendance.

We ate za, then I opened my gifts, then we had icey cream, and that was that.

On my birthday itself I woke up at about the time I was born but didn't make the connection that it was my birthday until I opened my journal and saw the previous day's date.

I had three people call and sing my happy birthday, one call to tell my happy birthday and that she was praying for me, got innundated with well-wishes and hugs and one person hugged me the whole time she sang happy birthday to me when I went to pick up my boys and nephew after they spent the day at the lake and our pastor's house with the rest of the youth from church.

Most of the day was spent running errands in preparation to leave you all for five days though. I had 18 stops and made them all! :-D

As for next year and the big four-oh, my mom told me that is when life starts. In her case it was true. She got married then and he has had quite the time since 40 hit. I look forward to starting over.

When evil is allowed to compete with good, evil has an emotional populist appeal that wins out unless good men & women stand as a vanguard against abuse.

Thankee, Kev! Nice cake.

Schu, maybe he thinks that if we are wearing pants or a long skirt we don't have knees because he can't see them? LOL
