I'm still here, so that's a good sign. The pain is just horrible though. They have me on that oxycodon, and it's barely doing anything.

The surgeon said I was much worse than the MRI showed, and he said he's not even sure if the surgery will end up helping. I guess when he tried re-attaching the tendons, they just frayed, since the damage is so severe.

So today's lesson is-- If it hurts, take a rest.

The surgeon told Ken that I can not return to gardening, ever. I'm hoping he's wrong. but time will tell.

oh wow Julie that sounds shitty!...I hope you can get back to gardening again as it seems like you really enjoyed it....and I hope the pain eases real soon...

Surgeons have been wrong before....besides, only time will tell...

Sorry about the pain too...You need to tell the doc and maybe they can prescribe something else huh?

Take it one day at a time...And don't overdo it!
