I recorded my son playing guitar for me. It was an off-the-cuff performance and he was really nervous knowing he was being recorded, but if I can figure out how to change it to an MP3, I may put it online for anyone who is interested to hear.

I also received in the post a copy of Guitar World with Randy Rhoads on the cover. Aero loves me!

I also made my mom cry. I gave her the children's book I'll Love You Forever which I can never read without crying, and I knew she would love it. She did.

That's too sweet t :headbang:....I was not-so-close with my mom for a while, but it was my fault, and I changed my ways and reconciled with her....

She's the only mom I'm ever gonna have, so better judgement prevailed... :-D

I make SURE she's taken care of on Mom's Day! hahaha

My husband reconciled with his mom years ago. It still isn't easy for him to deal with her at times, but he is doing what he can. He went to see her this weekend at her house about 5 hours from us. She was upset at first that he didn't stay home with me, but my thought on that is: I am not his mother.
