No, I didn't stop. The parking around there is insane and we wanted to get to the Santa Monica Pier so the kids could see a REAL beach and I could see where the Ghost Rider rode off into the sunset.

Image

Not much to see where he rode off. Just pier and water. LOL

Then we went off to visit Musician's Institute and look what we found on the sidewalk on the same block as MI:

Image

You should have heard the comments people gave when they saw whose star we were taking pictures of. Well, then again, no, you shouldn't. I sure didn't like my kids hearing them!

Across the street from MI we found this:

Well, although I didn't like hearing it, the comments didn't stop us from taking multiple picks of the star. One with just Eagle's shoes on it, the one I posted, one with E lying next to it, and one just of it. After all, IT IS OZZY and we love him.

Yeah, isn't it great? You never know what you will find in LA!

Oh, and a couple of women stopped while we were taking the pics of E and Ozzy's star and asked to video him because of his red hair. They were in town for a cheerleading championship and their team color was red. They were, from all places, Idaho, and we had a nice chat about the jazz festival that my kids just went to. Some of their kids had been as well.

When we visited Panacea, she taught us to tie-dye.

Here's a pic of the canyon I grew up in:

And where my mom served in the Army:

That picture is 5 blocks from where my mom was housed when she lived off base. She nearly cried when I spoke to her of The Presidio after our trip. She loved it there.

Cool pictures T; I like them all. Somehow the picture of Disney's N.O. seems a bit brighter and cleaner than the actual one but it is spot on. I liked the rain in Rush Rd. Are you and Schu having a contest to see who can get the redest hair? Looks like you guys had a wonderful time, you guys sure like your road trips. :-D
When evil is allowed to compete with good, evil has an emotional populist appeal that wins out unless good men & women stand as a vanguard against abuse.
