Supernatural

Post by Slaine mac Roth »

Don't know if anyone's been watching this one:

Basically, its about two brothers who's mother is killed by some demon type thing and, after they become adults, they begin to search for it, killing any other supernatural nasty that crosses their path.

Personally, I'm very impressed by the series which moves beyond the corny sounding premis.

Add to this a great rock soundtrack which, so far, has featured, among others, AC/DC, Blue Oyster Cult, Iron Butterfly and, in two seperate episodes:

RUSH

(brief exceprts from Fly By Night and Working Man)

So, if you've not seen it, its worth checking out.

I did watched the pilot Slaine' and hoped to catch the rest but I hardly watch any tv anyway so of course I didnt. I thought the pilot was great despite my initial doubt that we had another Buffy clone.

The only series I watch (and these I have to download due to the U.S. airing ages before the U.K.) are 'The Simpsons' of course, the excellent 'Malcom In The Middle' (based on the Ogg clan and sadly the last series) and 'Lost' that I watch with my daughter every thursday evening in her new home. In fact the episode has just finished encoding to disc and I'm off. Good bye :-) .
