I dont know how many of you have AIM messenging ...but see when you sign on and there's a wee grey circle flashing with the icon on the task bar....does anyone know what that means...?

it means people can see you through your monitor, so you should not be nekked. :-D

I have aol and I haven't seen a grey circle but I think it's similar to the flashing squares I get. So it is probably the symbol to tell you that you are connected.

If you hover your mouse pointer over the mysterious circle, it might tell you.

Failing that, clicking or right-clicking it ought to do something.


I was gonna suggest reading the documentation, but I just tried the website and it's crap. However, there was something about a new version of AIM, so could your circle be some kind of notification of that?

I'll try that tomoz when I'm on aim....i've used aim a lot of times but I've never encountered that before...
