Last time I had it... a buddy o' mine had fruit fermenting in it for like 48 hours. Then he served up the fruit and lemme just say I think my eyebrows just grew back now.....

I have an Indian buddy here (Feather not Dot) who makes what he calls Apple Jack. It's Everclear with Apple Cider and cinnamon sticks. He lets it go for like 3 months. It is smooth like no body's business. I about choked when he told me it had everclear in it. I would have never guessed. He brings it to the lake gigs we play all summer long. And it will straighten out all yer curley hairs.
