I watched part of the race yesterday they had it over here on the wide world of sports it was pretty cool Schu coming from way back in the field to take second behind Alonzo. Third straight win for Alonzo looking like a season battle with Schu.

Yesterday was one of the best races in a long time.

Unfortunately Schumacher couldn't pass Alonso. Alonso drove a superb race and deserves that win 100%.

It was also good to see JV up in the points for once.

I watched the highlights last night and I was getting all excited again seeing Schuey catching up with Alonso

And yeah Me he has got a battle this year which means I'll have a sore throat every other weekend as I'll be shouting again

It was good seeing JV get points as well but I dont know what happened with DC as Massa was able to catch up with him after their first bit of contact and he got beaten by his team mate in his debut race!!

I don't know what Massa was doing. I'm no fan of DC that's for sure, but Massa was in no position to try any passing when he did.

I heard two interesting things this weekend on SpeedTV,

First - Ferrari will be providing Red Bull with engines next year. Personally I don't really care about this, but it is news...

Second - Starting at Silverstone quailfying will be done all on Saturday with each driver getting two laps, the better of the two determining the order for the race. I think that this is a great idea, especially considering what Schumacher did on Sunday morning.

Granted this is just what they reported on Speed, so it may or may not be accurate. Sorry if you already know about this stuff.

I had heard about the Redbull engine stufff but not about the quals....saying that when Martin Brundle did his grid walk yesterday he ask Bernie Eccleston about qualifying and he was cadgy about it so there is something gonna be happening soon and I hope that it is that cuz that sounds like a much better way....I dont like the qualifying the now

I think I read somewhere that the collision with Massa broke part of DC's floor, so that'd explain why he was a bit slow.

As for qualifying, I reckon they should try out my idea, as presented several pages ago in this thread.

DC was still shit though ..Liuzzi even bet him in qualifying. And as for the crap about having to go to ads break....how come football gets the full 45mins without any ad breaks and I'm certain (but I could be wrong) even if it goes into extra time there is no ads...

Thanks, I read that stuff earlier today. I usually go to f1live.com first thing in the morning to see what's happend the night before.

I don't like the fact that they are going to let Zanardi "test" for Williams. On one hand, it's cool to see that he is still accepted by the team even after his accident and it will be a great personal accomplishment for him to get back in a F1 car. On the other hand, with testing supposedly so expensive for the teams, why would they waste the time on someone who will have almost nothing to contribute to the development of the car? Are they looking to sign Zanardi, don't think so. It seems to me that Williams is just trying to get the press by capitalizing on Zanardi's handicap. That's bullshit.

Just my opinion. Personally I think that the Alex Zanardi recovery is one of the best in all sports, ever.
