Myghin, it's too bad that they're all Geddy's :P

*Stalking my dear Dr. H*
I remember watching in amazement as Geddy sang, played bass, and played the keyboards with his feet. I thought, "Who is this guy???"

By the way carolynn if you're stuck on what to call me just call me Liam as that is my name.

If you are somewhat confused how that derives from H3WMW then I would forgive you. Basically my initials are WMW as my first name is really William but I've just taken the WIL away from it.

Hope this clarifies any confusion for you.

:-D :-)

P.S. I've not had a chance to work on the notes for the 2nd bit of the Driven bass solo for you yet. I'll PM you when I'm able to do so.

Liam.

hooray! methinks i'll just call thou L! that way you can have a one-letter name like most of us out here! :D

i found the Different Stages solo for Driven, & the beginning is exactly the same as the RIR one, so i'm thinking maybe they're really close to the same? i'm no good at figuring out stuff on my bass, so i'll leave it to you, but hopefully i'll be able to compare the two when you're done!

thanksies again!

btw, tomorra's bassline (since it's 11:44pm) can be Show Don't Tell! LOVE that song!

Ah, Show Don't Tell. Nice bassline.

Carolynn (or do you prefer C?)

The opening part for the bass solo on Driven is exactly the same for both DS and RiR versions.

It's the second part that's "slightly" different but not much. It's the same notes played in a different sequence.

Will get back to you shortly.

Is there any reason you don't put a capital C in your name carolynn?

just cause i'm too lazy to put it in, & figure i don't need it! i put capital letters in everybody else's (except t's -- i got whipped for calling her T!) because they deserve respect!
