Better than ours of the time, perhaps. But we've got pretty good since. :P

Then again, they might have been better still if the Spaniards hadn't wiped them out.

I've not heard any new theories but, while doing my history degree, the general theory a few years ago was that the Spanish introduced numerous diseases into the Americas that the indiginous population had no resistance to. Therefore, in my opinion, the Spaniards were guilty of mass-manslaughter (except for the ones who who didn't want tao give up their gold/religion and were slaughtered.)

Massive human sacrifice followed by ritualistic suicide

No? :P
I remember watching in amazement as Geddy sang, played bass, and played the keyboards with his feet. I thought, "Who is this guy???"

Its a sad fact that the European Colonial Powers had a record of being pretty genocidal

Watch "Alien Vs. Predator" when it is released. It supposedly blames the dissapearence of the Myans on a couple of Predators and several thousand Aliens. :-D

omigoodness, i SOOOOOOOO wanna see that movie when it comes out!! i saw the first Predator, didn't find much use for the 2nd one, & the Alien series belongs to me bro, who will not watch them anymore, but i still wanna see it! :-D i'm hoping maybe after that he'll lemme watch his Alien movies! although i did walk in on one of them (don't remember which one) & the dude was in a cocoon watching the little alien be born & he goes.."oh look, it's a beautiful butterfly!" in an insane kinda way, so up until now i've always thought the Alien movies were a joke :P

anyways, i'm pretty sure i'll see the movie, it should be educational to hear that lil bit :P

The first three Alien movies were good, but Resurrection sucked. The first Predator movie was good and the second one was pretty much the first one, only in the city.

That would be from Alien:Resurrection.

Making Resurrection was pointless to the Alien Franchise.
