If that helps you sleep better at night, you keep on thinking that.Sir Myghin wrote:this is hilarious, whats teh best is canadians invented football as yanks know it, you just added an extra down and took a guy off the feild making it easier, panzies.
Depending on which story you believe, what is know as football in North America was either 'adopted' from Rugby by the British in 1600 at the Citadel in Quebec, or was 'invented' in the 1200's in England. Canada wasn't given the right to 'self-govern' until 1849, so football is quite a bit older than Canada.
As for U.S. football being easier, is that why those who can't cut it in the NFL go to play in the CFL? I bet you think Canada invented Basketball too, since Naismith was from Canada, even though he was working at Springfield College in Massachusetts.
Don't tell me about rock and roll I'm out there in the clubs and on the streets and I'm living it! I am rock and roll!

Why are you arguing about this? Why don't you address the real questions like who invented tiddlywinks?by-tor wrote:If that helps you sleep better at night, you keep on thinking that.Sir Myghin wrote:this is hilarious, whats teh best is canadians invented football as yanks know it, you just added an extra down and took a guy off the feild making it easier, panzies.

If memory serves, that was invented by a member of the California Angels...since they can't play the sport they claim to be a member of.Slaine mac Roth wrote:Why are you arguing about this? Why don't you address the real questions like who invented tiddlywinks?

Actually, I have a white stuffed bear strapped to the front of my van, and we spell his name "Whitie." I named him that cuz, well, first, he is white, second, he was given to me by my white man, and so, I named him that in honour of all the whites around and in hopes that some PC freak might ask his name and ged all weirded out.EndlesslyRocking wrote:I find this completely offensive and inappropriate.
It's spelled "Whitey", damnit!

Sadly I wasn't born yet to see that era of the Steelers, but I do collect every video of them I can get my hands on. They were turly a great team (the greatest all time HANDS DOWN IMHO).

Hmmmm....how many AFC teams are saying this very same thing about the Colts?Soup4Rush wrote:Man, I hope the Chefs can get into the playoffs again so Indy can beat up on them some more..
