Hey guys, it's amazing what you can find at second hand stores! Last night I found two rare old singles: Brush "No Duh Yer Goin' Bald (Ya Hoser)" [with "Rappunzel Dude" on the b-side] and Shallow Magenta, "Man on the Smoke-Gray-with-Emerald-Stripes-and-Pink-Polka-Dots Mountain" [with "My Sony's from Tokyo" on the b-side]. I totally freaked out when I found these two beautiful tonal treasures! I even started break dancing in the aisle (but my kids got really embarassed when I grabbed my crotch, so I only did it once). Now if only I could find that one live Brush album, All the World's a Plate of Spaghetti....

Mmmm, Spaghetti :D
I remember watching in amazement as Geddy sang, played bass, and played the keyboards with his feet. I thought, "Who is this guy???"

STOP ! your attention for quite a serious issue now please...
I want to know exactly where you've foud these copies and who sold these to you ! There seem to a considerable amount of illegal bootlegs on the market these days and as you can prolly understand NPG, Awip2062 and yours truly never get to see a single buck of it !
My intentions thus are to take some serious steps towards this form of exploitation...
Just last night, Awip2062 came back from an interview session she had in Istanbul and she brought me this copy, which is actually also a fake...recording by some hideous Egyptian coverband that carries the name of "BZIMZIM", which actually means "BRUSH" in good English (for as far as i know, that is).
Popularity has its price, I sincerely understand...but THIS is getting out of hand...wayyyy out of hand. She also bought some t-shirts over there...and when you hold them straight up against the Sunlight, a picture of Yassar Arafat emerges ! By Ged !
This can't go on any longer...we're missing out on thousands of dollars this way and even more important, we never ment ourselves to be associated with some Egyptian or Turkish food item !

Here by the way a list to the songs on the fake album :

1. The spirit of Al Jazeera (5.11)
2. Red Skoda GT (6.46)
3. PLO (7.43)
4. A Passage to Khabul (3.45)
5. Closer to Arafat (3.07)
6. Beneath, Between, and in flames (2.34)
7. Jacob's big mistakes (8.46)
8. Broon's Bar (1.37)
9. The Trees are gone (in the desert) (4.50)
10. Xananistan (12.09)
11. Our Will (cause we say so) (5.31)
12. Tom and Jerry (4.59)

Should anyone get a hold of any of these versions, please please please, contact the nearest police station as fast as you can ok ?
And ehm...Kael...as for you, you have exactly three days to turn yourself in...if you don't, there will be some search warrants flying if you catch my drift ! By Neil, where is this world going to ! ( NPG ).

Hey, Kares....can I bribe you to be quiet if I give you this studio-outake copy of Rhythm Method Failed Again (Tonny, I'm Pregnant) that we eventually dropped in favour of the song you know and love today?

You ought to be more careful what you name your songs then! ;)

**Pstt, Dawn it's a deal if you'll throw in an autograph copy of Permanent Graves as well.**

And Tonniyieee, if you hold up an official BRUSH t-shirt to the light, do you see a water mark of Ariel Sharon with blood on his fangs? 'Cause I swear I could see a small image like that when I looked at the back of Night by Fly. Just wondering...
