Admittedly, even moreso than Manowar I am a fan of Rhapsody
No really... I'm serious.
I never saw your face and now you're gone without a trace, except the trace of blood that's deeply scarred into my eyes to fill your place.

I've just recently started getting into Power Metal and I must say, I like Blind Guardian a lot. I understand that Rhapsody is partly influenced by BG? I've only heard one of their songs, Emerald Sword, he's got quite an accent on him

Now then folks, its been a while.
Enjoy this stuff myself even at the tender age of 43 (vain attempt to recapture my youth!).
Have you come across the Darkness over in the States I know they have been workin really hard over there. They are massive over here in Blighty at the moment..
lead singer has a hellavu voice.
I think they are a breath of fresh air...

Funny you should describe them that way. That's exactly what I said after getting over the shock of the retro "Queenesque" bravery of the lead singer. It's good to hear that stuff make a comeback (from the '70s).

A lot can happen in such a short time, you have to check in every now and then!
I remember watching in amazement as Geddy sang, played bass, and played the keyboards with his feet. I thought, "Who is this guy???"

I'm not too certain of Rhapsody's background or infleuences, but man oh man, can they belt out some epic power metal!
