So you all know I have the coolest Rush parents on the planet, besides us Rushians, so this probably won't shock you. They bought RushFan and I the R40 box set for Christmas and got the one from Backstage Club with the bonus dvd. When I spoke to Mom that day she says, "I hope you don't mind that Dad and I watched the dvd that was extra, all by itself..." Uumm... NO! So I asked what they thought... "It was very interesting and we liked it, even if we didn't always know what it was we were watching." At 79 and 80 they still freaking rock!!
I don't have faith in faith, I don't believe in belief, You can call me faithless, I still cling to hope, And I believe in love, And that's faith enough for me... Neil Peart

I totally get why Neil wants to be done. BUT...he wanted to be done but came back to us because of finances before, perhaps that will keep him working for some years more? In either case, he has to do what is best for himself and his family, whether that translates into new music and tours for us or not is not the issue, eh?

I'll sure save a lot of dough if they never tour again!awip2062 wrote:I totally get why Neil wants to be done.
