man, I think Goodell went over the top on that one.. Who cares if a player is given an incentive to knock somebody out of a game.. as long as the hit is legal.. its football for cripes sake.. IMHO anyway..

There are morality clauses written into most player and coach's contracts. Even without a moral base, this behavior violates what most consider moral. Hence, there should be a fallout. The players should expect to play fair, and have others play fair against them without added incentive.

You know in hindsight, I was upset about the Manning thing.. but seriously, the guy is 36 and who knows if he will be the same Manning this year.. and how do you pass up on a guy like Luck? And there was no way he could sit behind Manning for a few years.. He is ready to go now.. The Colts made the right decision..
