I was a Colts fan stuck in a Redskin home while growing up in the
MD 'burbs of DC.
I was fortunate enough to see the tail end of Johnny U's career and the start of Bert Jones' in Baltimore. Those Colts teams ROCKED too.
I witnessed the "Sonny" and "Billy" (Redskin QB) controversies in DC back in the 70's.
Went to RFK and watched the last straight-on NFL kicker Mark Moseley of the Redskins in the glory years of the 80's.
I watched the Colts leave Baltimore on that snowy January night in '84.
I cheered (and felt sorry) for both teams.
Still do.
Makes me feel sorry for the NE crowd when the Pats finally wane into
obscurity again. Oh don't worry....it WILL happen.
Enjoy the ride, Pats fans.
