I thought it was very interesting how JJ and Jr were running almost
identical lap times and were running together in the 20's until Chad made
the adjustment that got JJ fast and heading to the front quickly.

Too bad he couldn't share that SWEET adjustment info with the other
team in that garage
(read: 88 team), but I guess that keeping that info
close-to-the-vest is how you win multiple championships, right?

I'll close with a memorable "quote" after Junior pushed JJ to the
win at 'dega earlier this year:

"Next one's on us, brother." - C. Knaus

See ya at 'dega in the Chase to COLLECT, Chad.

Another song title popped into my head - "Cold Day in July" is when Jr. will collect that help from the 48.

Wurd. I expect no less from CK.

Junior's been driving with a horsehoe the last few weeks. They have
given him CRAP cars to drive lately, and Junior has not been timid to let
the world know it.

And yet Junior signed on for 5 more years? Sounds to me like he should have gone elsewhere.

I wish he would have gone to RCR from the jump. I really do.

Even I know that Jr's new contract is just 5 more years of swag money,
as long as Gordon and JJ keep bringing the hardware back to Rick H.

Just my humble opinion as a DEJ fan.

You know, I'm no Nascrap detective, but there's one common thread
between winning drivers:

They all have (or had) FAST cars.

Junior didn't just all-of-a-sudden "forget" how to drive.

- Notice how "well" MM is doing since he got Jr's old team?

- Notice how Junior is making the Chase with Jeff's old team?

You guys can bash DEJ all you want, but here's the truth:

When they finally cave in and give him fast cars, he'll win. End of story. 8)

And as far as Danica goes, Tony Stewart's got skin in that game too.

A 2-time Champion can't be wrong.....right? lol

BTW - still waiting for Jimmie to "return the favor" and push Dale to glory
at 'dega...stay tuned. We'll see if Chad keeps his word.

"Next one's on us, brother." - CK (to DEJ after pushing JJ to victory at 'dega)

KHI is apparently going to merge its NNS entries with RCR and it has already abandoned its truck program.

Interesting. I thought KHI did exceptionally well this year in the CWTS.

It's gotta be a sponsorship thing.

Just goes to show what a bad economy can do to ya.

Just spoke to my buddy on the phone that's camping down at RIR...

He says it's a mudhole and he needs a f'n boat.

Now that's HARDCORE Nascar fanhood. :P lol

BTW - he's a Gordon fan.

Junior and Tony are IN.

Bite me, Junior haters.

Junior drove the wheels off of that beat-up POS 88 car, dumped Kvapil
just like his daddy would have done (that was SWEETNESS to watch) and
here's the best part:

The 5 team (the 88 team last year - remember?) proved what I preached
all along to you people:

That (in my humble opinion) LM sucks as a crew chief, and his
teams always consist of HMS 2nd-string leftovers.

LM goes back to sweeping floors in HMS R&D next year when Kahne brings
Kenny Francis to HMS with him. (KK's not stupid.)

Here's to hoping that MM gets a full time ride next year, and the 5 team
gets new over-the-wall players for KK in 2012. :partyman:

That's how you roll in the Chase, JOOOOON-YA!

Congrats to you and Tony for cleaning up in Chicagoland.

Time for some NH flat-trackin' next weekend.

Hook ol' Junebug up, Stevie. We need a "W" before this thing is over.

Dale Jr has the best avg. finish at Chase tracks of any active driver (7.6)

He should be okay at NHIS, if Steve L. gives him SPEED off of the hauler.

Dale Jr and Tony have turned the Chase upside down in one race.
