Last night's gig

I was alluding to the mic cords hanging free and dangling on the stands...
When I "roadied" they had to be wrapped (spiraled) on the stands and
booms...
I'm just givin' ya a hard time.
Did you guys set up yourself there for your own solo gig, or was it a bill
where you share gear with other bands?

Last night we were just a warm-up act at the Springville World Folkfest. But we were very well received. Usually they have boring acoustic acts, so I think we were a welcome change this year. We got the crowd toe-tapping for sure! And yes, a couple of them did have a "wide stance".

Aren't you the guy who hit me in the eye?
I'm with ya Elf.
I've found in my old age that people aren't always going to see bands to get their eardrums numb...
Most people just wanna DANCE!
A party/dance band will get more big gigs than a thrash band every time.
Country bands are pretty busy too...I guess that's where the money is at
here.
What wigs me out is that DC has a HUGE bluegrass circle!
Bluegrass bands gig regularly at The Birchmere.
Git yer truck filled up and lets' go stump jumpin' Bro!

heyheyheyhey...
Don't laugh!
That's what we went to see The Who and Kiss for!
They used to hold the Guiness record for loudest band (respectively), and
we wanted to find out why.
They kicked our ears off our heads! We had incredibly hurt eardrums
after those shows...
