Doctors are paid less in Canada, in consequence, they all go over to the states for more money for their 10ish years of school and training. We have a shortage of doctors, getting a family doctor is pretty difficult to do.

If you go to ER you and you are not a young child (see less than 6) and not dying as you speak. Feel free to wait at least 3 hours, because you will need to. I needed stitches in a finger cut to the bone, and I had to wait 3 hours, most likely because I temporarily had it taped shut. If I had removed the tape and bled all over the place I bet I would have been in and out faster. However I was courteous and didn't like losing blood, so 2 stitches took 3 hours, she insisted on freezing it too, when she started to stitch the freezing hadn't taken and she wanted to stop I told her sew it up and let me go home. Same with when I had massive stone pain, before I was known to have chronic stone problems, except that was about 5 hours. Serious, massive back and renal area pain, noone knows what I have but I have to wait 5 hours.

Surgery, if you need it badly chances are you are dead. Waiting lists can be very long, there is a reason a lot of them hop the border and pay for it. They would rather live.

Didn't you guys recently have a Canadian woman talking against our system in the states from my area?

ACTED STUPIDLY, not "stupid police" or "stupid officer", but "acted stupidly." Seems plain and simple. Now the officer, the professor and Obama will have a beer together at the big house. Wish I could act stupidly and get a cool story to tell for the rest of my life.

Yes. She is doing the talk show circuit now.

Another young fellow has released a YouTube video of him going
undercover into medical clinics in Canada. It's gone viral from what I
hear, but I haven't seen it yet.

I was in Obama's corner up until this point.. I mean Bush said some dumb things, but this takes the cake. Way to make this about race O! racial tensions still exist in this country because of stupid shit like this. Obama should have kept his damn mouth shut. period! "I don't know all the facts, but I think the Cambridge Police Department acted stupidly" Are you freaking kidding me!!! I tell you, I am sick to death of hearing about race and about how its the police's fault or just white people in general. I was at my apartment's swimming pool over the weekend with my 10 year old daughter. There were 5 black kids in the pool as well. I bet I heard the word nigger 30 times. so did my daughter. I should have said something but if you do, you are the racist. Hey Sharpton, you want race to stop being an issue. How about educating your own people instead of blaming the goverment, the police etc... Why dont you go after the hip hop industry the way you went after Imus?

Obama proved he is a black man first, The President of the United States second. nothing more... and this is the reason why race is still an issue today.
