We had a really fun concert last Saturday evening... an outdoor "Concert in the Park" event. I'm SOOOO happy with our new bass player. We all had a great time. Lots of families and old people and even a few facebook friends there (people I haven't seen in decades, including my best friend from about age 4 through 15).

Monday afternoon I got an e-mail that made me smile and I thought I'd share...

Thank you for coming to play! You guys did such a good job. I am certain everyone present enjoyed the evening. I know I did, and my husband (who generally endures stuff like this for my sake) genuinely enjoyed your music. Thank you for making our first concert in the park of the season such a success. On behalf of all of Mapleton, THANK YOU!

Looking forward to playing a couple of gigs this summer. At the end of July we'll be playing at this venue. We've done it before, but it's been years. Excited to be going back.

Then in the beginning of September we'll be playing on this bandstand to a large city-festival crowd. We were there once a few years ago and I've always wanted to go back.
