Cool beans Soup.
I saw some people they found scared to death in the hallway of one of
those trailers on TV here.
I think that was divine intervention - if there ever was - that no one got
killed.
Dude, those things peeled the paint off of metal....Impressive.
Former trailer dweller here too...Sigette and I lived in a 12x70 the first
ten years we were married.
Ours had to be built to NC hurricane specs, so they had steel bands
surrounding the wall frames and roof that had to be anchored into the
ground with augers.
It was for creature comfort, as they mean little or nothing in a good twister.

YUCK!!!
I know. The snow was all pretty and wonderful at Christmas time. But those days are past.
On the other hand... I live in a very arid region. We need all the snow pack we can get in our mountains in order to survive the summer. So I should be thankul.
Aren't you the guy who hit me in the eye?

I meant to ask Elf:
Do you guys get robbed of sunlight because of the BIG mountains?
In the dense hollows (or "hollers," as we call 'em) of Southern WV and
KY, they get maybe 6 hours of sunlight a day in Summer, mid-morning
through mid-afternoon.
Of course, I'm talking about North/South hollers with East/West
mountainsides.
Just wonderin.'

In my part of the valley (the eastern part) we get kinda late sunrises. But that's about it.CygnusX1 wrote:I meant to ask Elf:
