Thank you all! we love him lots, and yes he has loads of character lol. He can open doors, fetch already, & he lets us know when it is time to play. We are only having a few small issues. He does not like other people, just the main 4 (5 before my oldeset left again) he is just afraid of anyone outside the home. We want to take him to public places as aften as we can, but weather & other stuff keep us from it. Going to be hard to stud him out if he keeps that up. With a 5 plus generation pedigree for all kinds of work/help stuff would be a waste if we didnt. He & i bonded from the moment we met, he came straight to me & fell asleep lol. He follows me everywhere i let him, and even when i do not hence the opening of doors coment. We also having a small barking problem, trying to break him of that. He barks to try & get our attention when he thinks we should be giving it to him. Also he has stopped chewing on most everything, but he really likes to play attack our daughter & whatever she is wearing or carrying. I am hoping he outgrows all most of this, so fat he seems to be but slowly.

Couldn't see the pics LB, but congrats on getting a Lab.
As a former (Yellow) Lab owner myself, I know you'll grow to love that dog
like one of your family.
They're damn near human, and they're SO good with kids.
They're gentle giants!
(Except when it's time to hunt. They're all business. Make sure he gets
his time in the field - or he'll go without ya!)

Don't start none...won't be none.
