Cyg, you and a few others here are in for a rocky 8 years, man. But, after 8 years with your "protector" at the helm, my sympathy chip is difficult to activate.

He didn't say "wusses." Here is the quote;
"When it comes to the weather, folks in Washington don't seem to be able to handle things," a joking Obama told reporters Wednesday morning.

"My children's school was canceled today because of what? Some ice."

Obama said his daughters -- Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7 -- pointed out that school in Chicago is never canceled.

"In fact, my 7-year-old pointed out that you'd go out for recess. You wouldn't even stay indoors," Obama says.

"We're going to have to try some flinty, Chicago toughness to this town."

You haven't had snow unless you've lived in the midwest, baby. Today we are under about 8 inches of frozen tundra with more on the way and everyone is still expected to be where they should be. Work, school, street corner, sewer, whatever.

As long as he doesn't cross the line Bro... I'm cool.

You stick to your guns. I appreciate you respecting my point of view, too.

If you didn't, I'd have to walk.

Oh we know what he MEANT Bro.

See, in DC, appearances are EVERYTHING.

If it APPEARS to be a conflict - it IS. If it APPEARS to be a slam, it IS.

I guess he had a ice-grippin limo in Chicago...Do they even GET ice?

Last I looked, there's nothing made with that kind of grip.

While I ponder the former, I'm thinking:

Like he everrrrr drove his kids to school in Chicago PERIOD - much less on ICE!

puh-leeeeze!

***Hearty belly laffs*** Laughable.

He'd better leave that theory in Chicago. It's open season on their politicians these days anyway, yo.

Blago's hot buttered toast in, oh.... about a day-and-a-half.

According to Obama's chief of staff Obama keeps it very warm in his office. "You could grow orchids in there" I think was the quote.
Aren't you the guy who hit me in the eye?

Well, with the Federal Energy Mandate (keeping Fed govvie offices at 72 degrees MAX),

We're gonna have to instill some flinty, DC toughness in his town. 8)
