I hear that.

In a little bit Todd and I are going to run up to a co-workers place, get him and his SNOWBLOWER and take care of the burm in front of my house. That way when the city is able to get the plows to the residential areas, the plow burm won't be quite so bad...........In theory.

I'm gonna buy him a bottle o hootch, feed him lunch and pay for the gas to get r done. :-D

Here is the residential plow map. They are plowing areas in color......The gray is still not plowed. I live in area 9.

http://www.spokanestreetdepartment.org/ ... essMap.pdf

It will be a few days before they get here..........and if it snows big again, they won't, because they will get called back to the major arterials and the South Hill area all over again.

16+ inches on the ground, and it's still falling. We get a break tonight, and then another storm tomorrow.

Plow? What is this plow thing you speak of? I saw him, at 2am, and then again at 1:30pm...he hasn't been back.

The roads are crap (had to go out- needed milk) and anyone with 4 wheel drive is driving like a nitwit. You have 4 wheel drive- do you have 4 wheel stop, nimrod?

Those IDIOTS with 4 wheel drive that think they can go ANYWHERE. I hate those IDIOTS. :x :x :x

Scoot and I are going to venture out here in a bit. She needs warmer boots and we need food in the house. Especially if it snows again, like they say it's suppose to.

SICK SICK SICK OF THIS STUFF ALREADY.

And it's not even officially winter. :( :( :(

Here's some more pix.

These two were taken yesterday 12/19/08.

Here is the picnic table, again, after it has quit snowing, for now.

The fence by the shrubs, is a four foot fence.

Here the guys are knocking out our snow berm, with the borrowed snowblower, in front of the house.

Our neighbor on the east side of us shoveled his out yesterday. This is in front of his house with his neighbors car out front.

We almost have a sidewalk.....

The mounds of snow, because there is no where else to put it.

This area goes back into the garage. The "pile of snow" to left is Todd's Camero.

With the help of the snowblower................. miracles do happen.

Man, I love my storm better! LOL

Zed, dig in and hang on! Here's praying you don't get hit by a nitwit who has no brains!

I spoke with Soup. He's got no power still and the estimate is still not to have any for days. He went to someone else's house for company cuz it is no fun being home alone with no power.

Thankfully there is no rehearsal or gig tonight. I'm pooped too. It's been a long three days off.

Scoot and I made it on our outs and abouts. No mishaps either. But it's funny how a three lane road becomes a 2 1/2 lane road in the snow.

We have some icecicles hanging in the back. Can't get to 'em to knock 'em down.

Image

This is the path Leon made from the back fence to the side door of the garage. And part of Scoot's swingset on the right. Her slide is buried.

Image

This is a pic of our backyard. The fence here is 6 feet tall.

It just keeps coming and coming, eh? Thanks for keeping us up with the pics! It sure doesn't look like it did when I was there in May, though! LOL
