Centigrade...

There's a word I haven't heard for a while.
Is that in common usage up in the great white north?

The US is the only nation not on metric. Many many people in other nations still know English, though.

We had 10C recently but now we're -3C.

I understand that. But the only people I hear who say "centigrade" tend to be in their 70's or older. Us youngins (and the temperature metrology community I work in) all say "Celsius". But perhaps that's different in Canada.

Last night our front yard picnic table had about 8" of snow on it. This morning the benches and table top are one solid hunk of snow. We have somewhere around 15" to 18" of snow out there.

I HATE SNOW....................... Especially like this. :x :x :x

Yeah, I doubt our emergency pallets from Portland will make it on time or otherwise today. Most of the city is prolly shut down. I know the schools are closed I already got that call.

Ok, off to shovel out both rigs. :x

That's why I was late for work today. Not snow, getting hammered. I'll be over with a shovel, Hairy. Remember to spray them with non-stick cooking spray. It gives the snow a subtle buttery taste. :)

My work called me......... we are closed today and tomorrow because of the snow.

I will post some pix in a little while of the "hammering" we're getting.

Just trying to warm up a bit right now. Todd took Leon to work. We can't get past the driveway with our truck or the van. Todd has 4x4, so he's getting around a little better than us.

When Todd gets back, he & I will be finishing shovelling the driveway so all the vehicles will fit.
