And hang in there yourself, Siggs. I know that cancer doesn't just hit the individual, but it ripples out and has an effect on the family and friends and co-workers, and....

Dude, you too? I used to play that on bass, when I practiced 3 hours a night, it was the closing song on my practice, why, as it destroyed my left hand motor skills. The bass is just insane during those solos and come mid solo 2 my hand is also begging for mercy, for a while I could do it, then I didn't practice as much, and man it is a workout!CygnusX1 wrote:
Well, if you had to play that song every night for 30+ years, you'd be a little tired too!
BUT, I will argue that ALEX should be the complainer. God only knows
HE'S the "WORKIN' MAN" in the WM solos....holla.
I STILL can't play the complete WM solos. My fret hand begs for mercy
after only two bars of solo II!
MUCH respect to His Royal Highness King Lerxst.
Yeah Myg....WM's brutal...ever get "charleyhorses" (spasms) in the hands?Sir Myghin wrote:Dude, you too? dude... I'd rather have a frontal lobotomy...
Now I know why Alex is so frugal with his note-playing these days, and
why they edit many of the intros to shorten 'em up.
Xanadu for one...they chopped the entire intro out of that one.
"que Neil and the tubular bells..."

The state of Washington went ahead and placed a lien against my mom and step-dad's property and have sent both he and I letters asking how we intend to repay them for the money that Medicaid paid for her care the last years of her life even though the law states no recovery can be made during the lifetime of a surviving spouse!
Onward and Upward!
