odd, in a 3 year study in my area gas is usually higher on sundays (average cost) than any other day. (my stats prof was weird, he monitored 3 gas stations for 3 years, for no reason other than amusement)

For a stats prof that is not weird at all.

Sad isn't it? Now and then I think back to prices under two bucks and wonder how it became so "normal" to think of those as cheap!

If I close my eyes really tight and concentrate, I can still see the .99 per gal. signs everywhere. Time for a time machine :-)

Drove past ARCO this morning, usually one of our cheapest stations and it was still at $3.59. When are we gonna see prices like you all have?
