Democrats concede, will end offshore drilling ban
Well, there you go. Freedom to drill the fack outta earth and bring up all of that precious crude. It's all agreed to.
Now we can sit back and see how much profit this oily windfall will make for the oil companies as they sell it overseas. It'll have no affect on our economy or gas prices, but at least we can all stop screaming about it now, eh?

I like your optimism! And I think I want to believe they'll do the right thing finally as well. 'Course, we think things are bad now...wait a few years and this will seem like a Golden Age.Walkinghairball wrote:With all the BS with the FM & FM stuff, don't you think big oil and the good ol boys just might do the right thing for us Americans............that is, if FM & FM get slam dunked as they should????
Not just you, but alla us............sayin'.

You'd THINK it would be even better, since oil is under 100 bucks a barrelWalkinghairball wrote:Ok the gas station I pass every morning was at $3.61 yesterday morning, on my way home tonight it was at a staggering...............get this.............$3.49!!!!!
BLISS!
now.
It's true that oil prices go up like a rocket and down like a feather.
Why it can't go down as fast as it goes up is beyond me....
but somebody's making a assload of money over it though, and that's not
right.

I know Bro. I feel for those folks.Walkinghairball wrote:Yeah, but just 4 months ago it was a dollar higher a gallon.
So far, I'm liking it.
Now if the Southeast folks could just GET some gas there they would be better.
They say it's so bad that people are following gas tankers.
One guy wrote a article about LETTING gas stations gouge prices to keep
people from hoarding...I guess there ARE always two sides to every argument...
