We were thinking of:

- The Band You're About To Hear

- Jimmy and the Heardsmen

- The Chordvettes

but definitely not The Tempos
Aren't you the guy who hit me in the eye?

How 'bout "Live Bait"?

(kicked that one around some years ago while in a punk band.)

"Live Canadian Night Crawlers" was already taken.

We settled for MTSOB, but I cannot EVEN tell you what that means here.

I'd have to PM it to you. It's sure to ruffle feathers if I post it.

And indeed it will.

We had our one and only rehearsal last night. Those two kids we played with (the drummer is a junior in high school) are really good. Picked up on the songs really quick. Should be a fun little set, though a bit rough around the edges.

One moment made me feel old... the drummer was completely unfamiliar with the song Twist and Shout. Someone's parents aren't doing their job! ;)

This gig sounds like it's going to be so much fun! I hope everything goes smoothly and you make some great memories.

So often I feel like the younger gen have missed out on so much. I mean, how can they survive without knowing who Sgt. Schultz is or being able to sing all the words to Starship Trooper? Dag.

True. True.

Of course... I 'm sure my dad's generation laments how much I missed out on. :)

Musical "education" comes in many forms (except rap. Rap is CRAP.)
Good deal Elf! The torch is passed yet again.

And I have been singing it in my head since reading the first post about it.

The Question caught me completely off guard with this song tonight. I love this band!
Looking forward to seeing them again Saturday night and warming up for them as well.
