How 'bout "Live Bait"?
(kicked that one around some years ago while in a punk band.)
"Live Canadian Night Crawlers" was already taken.
We settled for MTSOB, but I cannot EVEN tell you what that means here.
I'd have to PM it to you. It's sure to ruffle feathers if I post it.

And indeed it will.ElfDude wrote:Actually, it might turn out to be Cap'n Geech and the Shrimp Shack Shooters...
We had our one and only rehearsal last night. Those two kids we played with (the drummer is a junior in high school) are really good. Picked up on the songs really quick. Should be a fun little set, though a bit rough around the edges.
One moment made me feel old... the drummer was completely unfamiliar with the song Twist and Shout. Someone's parents aren't doing their job!

This gig sounds like it's going to be so much fun! I hope everything goes smoothly and you make some great memories.
So often I feel like the younger gen have missed out on so much. I mean, how can they survive without knowing who Sgt. Schultz is or being able to sing all the words to Starship Trooper? Of course... I 'm sure my dad's generation laments how much I missed out on.

Musical "education" comes in many forms (except rap. Rap is CRAP.)ElfDude wrote:My 17 year-old went out and bought a best of The Ramones CD last year.CygnusX1 wrote:Or...hearing "I Wanna Be Sedated" for the first time!Big Blue Owl wrote:how can they survive without knowing who Sgt. I swear, for no reason, I was singing this song as I put on my socks this morning. Trippy.CygnusX1 wrote:Or...hearing "I Wanna Be Sedated" for the first time!Big Blue Owl wrote:how can they survive without knowing who Sgt. Schultz is or being able to sing all the words to Starship Trooper? Dag.

And I have been singing it in my head since reading the first post about it.

The Question caught me completely off guard with this song tonight. I love this band!
Looking forward to seeing them again Saturday night and warming up for them as well.
