Guilty as charged! :-D

Acutally, I'm an audience watcher. I really like to look around when I'm playing and see how people are reacting, smile at the ones with whom I make eye contact, etc. Since I was at an amphitheater that meant a lot of looking UP. :)

I don't think he can make the trip for a gig that's not likely to generate any $...

If I wasn't paycheck to paycheck with no gig money here it might be different.

So, that's exactly what I did. And I tried hard to keep my mits off the "suck" knob. Actually, they sounded great! Much more polished than in the videos I've posted. They're hoping to record this week and have a CD to sell at their two shows this coming weekend.
My guess is Elfie will be buying one! :-D

How did you know they covered a Weezer song that night?

The suits were asked for by the venue. It was a book/antiques store. There were having a party for a midnight book release. They gave the party a prom theme.

The first thing I thought of when I saw that picture was the video of Weezer on the "Happy Days" "set" for "Buddy Holly"....

The third thing I thought of was, Geez, can we get these guys some curtains or something? It looks like an illuminated Blair Witch house.

The second was Happy Days, the first was, "Hey...suits."

Did the store have any books on Home Decorating for haunted mansions?

Well, looks like my brother and I will warm up for them... but with a fill-in drummer and with the pianist of The Question playing bass. So, it won't be a Midlife Crisis performance. But hopefully it will be fun. We'll get together for our one and only rehearsal tonight at my house.
