There's something about rest stops... I don't know if it's some sort of mystique left over from childhood road trips or what... but rest stops are happy places to me. Get out of the car where you've been cooped up for hours, stretch legs, walk around, breathe the fresh air... good times!
Aren't you the guy who hit me in the eye?

I get the same thing. As a kid I remember having picnics along the way at some rest stops. Guys with guitars playing for a hotdog, Frisbees, that cute girl over there with her family from Canada. We walk together for a while alone and promise to write, never to hear from each other again.ElfDude wrote:There's something about rest stops... Too right, it was a kind-of magical place when I was young.

Now my best rest stop memory involved a goat, and steer manure...........J/K!!!
Actually we drove close to 10 hours straight once and when we got out of the car, the wind whipped all out drawing paper out of the car. My brother and I had to run after it. BUT, after being "couped" up for so long, our legs didn't work real well.
Run Forrest run comes to mind.
