Okay, I see.

If we can't figure things out unless everything is one-for-this-side, one-for-that,...

Scrap that! If we can't figure things out period, this nation won't make it past my grandkids, if that long.

Question is: do enough of us want to figure things out and get this country on a successful track again to make the needed difference?

I think most of us want to, but we all have, for one reason or another, different priorities and theories as to what requires change and what needs to stay the same.

I look at many people around me and wonder if they care, really care.

I see some who are doing something, like the man in my neighborhood who has given Eagle a job and works with E in his yard because he believes kids need a helping hand from folks other than just mom and dad and I know he cares to try, but then there is the person I see who gets upset when his time is interfered with by anyone including his family and only wants to sleep, watch TV and buy things all day and I wonder...

Maybe if each of us set the example for those who don't seem to get it . . .

I figure it's each person's responsibility to do well, whether or not anyone else gets a clue from it.

Thats a good mentality zep, the only side effect is all the morons out there tend to get you bogged down now and again.

Yes, fighting a bad 'tude brought on by the lamebrains can be a drain.

Also, when one does well for a while, then makes a mistake, it's saddening how the lamebrains jump on the anger wagon and ride the dude outta town on the rails. (if only the lamebrains didn't run the media)

Nancy Pelosi needs a checkup-from-the-neck-up. She's just OUT THERE.

A total moonbat.

I was nervous about what "message" that movie might be trying to indoctrinate. So I was really watching for them. A particular concern would be that the Earth was in the condition it was because of man-made global warming. Fortunately they didn't go there.

I caught a couple of messages but wasn't offended by any of them. :)

The message I got was that people were too dependent on technology and they all sat around and got fat while the computers did all the work.. It was interesting to hear my kids talk about it afterwards.

I saw that one too... that humans were not meant to be dormant and dependant, but thrived when they were working and independant.

I thought there was almost an Ayn Randish feel to the way the people suddenly "woke up" and blossomed once they were ripped out of the system and started thinking for themselves. :)
