Here's one more. This may have been my favorite song of the night. I can easily hear this song (properly recorded) getting the kind of air play that Coldplay is getting.

That's a great kick back and relax tune! Yeah, I could hear that on the radio, easy. These kids gonna put any CDs out on their own?

They really need to. That song is a hit single.
But before they go into the studio they need to spend a couple more months rehearsing and performing just to tighten up a little. And then find a good agent maybe.

I see my brother posted one too. This is the opening of their set. Kind of fun the way they took the stage...

Fun lil funky groove.

I've never taken the stage like that, but we did have a song we started like that a long time ago.

My guitar nephew has been playing for a long time, and has spent the last year taking classical guitar lessons. You'll notice that as a rhytm player he is solid. But as soon as he tries a solo he seems terrified. Thursday he admitted to me that he never tried to solo before last week, so it's a very new thing to him. I'm sure with a little rehearsal he'll be just fine soon.

I did notice the drop in volume, but not the drop of confidence.

Yes with woodshedding on the new, it becomes second nature. His strum and style is very solid. Time and determination are his new motivation.

Not too many people totally relaxed when they hit the stage.

I like these guys. It's not the gugga or prog I normally listen to, but that's not all I listen to.

More please. :-D

The second one

Post by ElfDude »

Did you ever hear the second one I posted from my nephew's show?
When it comes to a band or an artist with a bunch of songs, everyone will have their own favorites. But I just don't get tired of hearing this song of theirs. I've been playing it a LOT for the last week. Wish I had a studio recording of it.

I do! Though the pianist doesn't need encouraging. He already knows he's a star. :)

He's a musician, he needs encouraging. He might hide it, but he does.

And here's a little movie of us riding a skilift and then doing a little hiking at the top during our vacation last week.

I really enjoyed these vids! You live in such a beautiful area of the world, Elf. I'm envious!

I left a comment on the Youtube video. It's awesome to have talented children, eh? :-)
