I wouldn't go see them if you GAVE me tickets....that's just me though.

I'd like to see Metallica vs. Disturbed in a UFC match.
I went on saw them in 1997- right before the soundman turned the "suck" knob to 11 for the band.
Didn't the stage fall apart and all the lights but a drop light happen also. I remember that here in Spokane. We left just then.......Yeah, is sukked bhalls.

SWEET CARVIN!

Check out that Gibby Firebird Glen Frey is playing! :headbang:

Reminds me of Warren Haynes, Johnny Winter and Allen Collins...

They knew how to make F-birds WORK.

Allen Collins (1952-1990) of Lynyrd Skynyrd
(Note the vintage tremolo on this one)

Johnny Winter ("Still alive and well..")

Warren Haynes of Allman Bros. Band & Gov't Mule

*looks at Firebird pictures*

No reverse ones, eh? The reverses are very rare creatures.

EDIT- Allow me to explain what a reverse Firebird is:

Firebird I - One pickup. Combination stud bridge/tailpiece. Chrome hardware.
Firebird II Artist CMT - A limited production instrument from the early 1980s; features a maple top, mahogany body, set mahogany neck, two standard-sized humbuckers, and toggle switches to control active Moog electronic tone controls.
Firebird III - Two pickups, Tune-o-matic bridge and Gibson Vibrola. Chrome hardware.
Firebird V - Two pickups, Tune-o-matic bridge with Maestro "Lyre" Vibrola; reissues feature a stop-bar tailpiece. Chrome hardware.
Firebird VII - Three pickups, Tune-o-matic bridge and Maestro "Lyre" Vibrola tailpiece. Gold hardware.
Firebird Studio - Two standard-sized Alnico humbuckers, Tune-o-matic bridge with stop-bar tailpiece. Chrome or gold hardware. Set neck.
Firebird XII - Two pickups, twelve string non-reversed version on the Firebird.
Non-Reverse Firebird - Collectors' term for a Firebird I, III, V or VII featuring a headstock with the tuners on the bass side, and a body having the bass side horn slightly longer than the treble side horn.

Sorry, but it is an ugly guitar. It may have a cool unique sound, but it is ugly.

Thats not ugly- its different. Red and white are the colors the Stripes predominately use. I could see that it doesn't have the sexy curves, but to me its different. It stands out.

Sorry about the blurry photo, I was in a hurry.

He was baffled by the stereo thing and had purchased a Y adapter so he could run both outputs to his amp simulatneously. Heh. We showed him how it worked.

Anyway, other than belt buckle rash it's in excellent condition. I fell in love with it right away. He's a realtor, so he's having a bit of a tough time lately and was saying, "I dunno if I can keep it", so I begged him to give me first chance if he decides to sell it.

Don't Rickenbacker's use the stereo setup also?
