The fact that he let him do it publicly can only hurt his campaign.

TESTIFY Elf. And that "deadbeat dad" shpiel he blathered out the other
night!

...A noble cause, but the WRONG demographic to voice it in to get him elected.

He probably would have had better karma mentioning it at a Rev. Wright
sermon. LOL

I think he's committed political hare-kare...

....and the race hasn't even started yet. :-D

I have to disagree. I've heard people bubbling over with respect and comparing him to Bill Cosby. *sigh*

The press reacted to it by saying Obama should make Al Gore an "energy czar". There's also toalk of him bringing a lot of old Clinonistas into his administration.

Wasn't he supposed to be all about change?

Maybe he is referring to changing back into a prosperous, well-liked country. :-)

Thankyeeeeeew. Wave to the Canadian Rigs off Key West next time you're down too. They'll take it if we don't... I don't blame 'em either.

An INCONVENIENT TRUTH? LOL

I know...that was bad. Congress REALLY has to look at the benefit/risk
assessment here...Scandinavia has had rigs offshore for DECADES and never had a disaster, and they're not begging for fuel either.

Ironically, they're some of the most VOCAL environmentalists in the world.

They spoke of shale oil in the Rockies...

12 TIMES as much as Saudi's ENTIRE RESERVES!

But alas, the caribou may get spooked....oy vey....

I should probably clarify. China isn't actually drilling there yet. Cuba is... just a few miles beyond. But they (Cuba) have leased areas to China, who is doing exploratory worh there.
