Yeah the Jarheads do it too, but I'm with ya.

On a side note, if a grunt is caught doing it, he gets to take a bucket
ride up with a lineman and get 'em down. Sucks to be them if the boots
go to the top where the high voltage is.

Better glove up too. Having the hair on your head and arms stand up as
you get in close proximity to 13kV is quite a deterrent.

Hmmm...I seem to remember also using exploding targets with the wrist rocket. Good times, that year between high school and college....

NIZE, but how was the trajectory? You prolly had to practice for a
while to get good with those!

Ball bearings were evil Bro. Solid steel shot.

Stealthy and silent.

Drops a squirrel like a bad habit. Dinner-on-the-table. :-D

Truthfully Elf, through trial and error we would use anything that would fit
in the sling!

Cherries....

Crabapples....

Rocks....

Matchbox cars...you name it!

Oh it was. We had some wooden broom handles that we used for a staff and one day I hit one on my friend Eddy's staff and broke it. We played ninja assassin sometimes...that was always fun to sneak up on someone at the tree house fort. Ahh the good old day running through The Trench (space between the back yards)... :-D

I was better with the dice- d20s were deadly- my friend's younger brother (who was a wiz with a bow and arrow- and also was the house watchman while we were there as he had insomnia) figured out the penny thing and started to take out the targets at 40 paces.

The more bread you have - the less shit you have to eat."
