May have recieved it from someone not in the know, never really looked into it. Can't find anything about it I just never looked into it as it sounded like their singer to my ear, looks like you are right, thanks!

My band has begun recording as of today, took a while to set up, we only got 1 out of 4 recorded, then played the others for practice. Final mix still has a bit of crackle (from the floor tom mike we got it as out as we could) and the bass come out a bit high in the final master stage (boo hoo you can hear more of me). Its mixed decently but not perfectly. Hope you enjoy it, the tune is called people believe

Keys are what the singer does when he is bored / wants to do something when he's not singing, relatively amature but he does it well.

I of course am on the bass and the effects monkey is the guitarist, the drummer, well he's a drummer

its his fault it has crackle and took 2 hours to set up the mikes for his damned kit well with noise gates.

Good stuff, Mygh. I particularly liked the bass playing and keyboard textures. Given a better recording and the vocalist a little time to develop, and sharpen his accuracy, you guys will sound as pro as any good working band.

Kudos for starting by recording originals. That's a very good sign

Thank BB, and aye even though my previous comment about keyboards seemed derogative they do add to our tunes and are good to have there. Glad you liked the bass playing, I kept that one simple but fun. As for the singer developing , he gets a little better every practice, has been going out longer than me, its definitely nowhere near your calibre but he fits the music, and everyone seems to enjoy his singing. He has the markings of a diamond in the rough. It can only be good if he gets better, and with a little practicing magic, he can be great. (And BONUS that he has transport!) I'm no expert. I go into "non-musician mode" when I listen to music and try to just go with what I feel and hear without all the baggage. "Try to" is the operative phrase

but with you guys I hear the makings of a band I'd like to see live. BTW, the bass stuff didn't strike me as simple, but moving around the neck a bit and keeping it interesting.
Have the guitar player experiment with a little chorus with the distortion (and add just a bit of percussive crunch) and the mix will like him a lot more
