I came across something the other day that I thought was kinda cool. It's a basement tape (literally recorded in the drummer's basement... this is pretty lo-fi, but not THAT bad) of a band I was in back in the mid 90's for a year or so called "Amy and the Doctors". The bass player used to come to me with bass lines and we'd start trying to build songs out of them.
This one is mostly his themes, but I threw in two of my own. We only got to perform it once in front of an audience before I had to leave the band for personal reason. It was well received live. When we performed it there were some female vocals during the quiet part in the middle, but they aren't on this tape.
