Pics of us

Re. monitors, that reminds me of something from last night at band practice. I was on the board and the drummer asked if the guitar was okay because she couldn't hear it very well. I told her I could turn it up in her monitor, only to be told she doesn't use her monitor. *sigh*
So, are we officially going to add "What is...thinking" to pictures we put up in here? Or can we at least have BBO giving us captions all the time? I love what comes out on those posts!

Here is an old pic of the band. Notice Mikey has long hair, and Russ has short hair. LOL
From a place that changed names a lot. From the ''Happy Hour'' to ''Spanky MaGoo's'', to ''The Edge'', to ''The Grail.''
It's in Post Falls Idaho, about 40 min out of town.
That gig was prolly close to 7 years ago.

They were an established band for about 3 years when I joined in October of 1993.
They are a "Let's make a band out of players from other bands" kind of band.
And other than the 2 years we lived in Portland, I have not missed one show in that 15 years.
Russ is the new guy, only 10-11 years for him. Heheheheheh

Yeah we still use it.
Willy takes the pic to Kinko's and has cool fonted text overlayed with our name, venue name and dates on it.
We also used 2 different cartoon charactures of us we used on home made flyers. I will have to find and scan them, they were +ingly entertaining to read.
People used to steal every flyer they could get.

It's a fairly recent development. I heard what they sound like for the first time last Monday. It's kind of a nu-metal thing. But I was impressed. For a bunch of kids they were really cooking. Saturday night will be their first gig... at this place:Kares4Rush wrote:Your daughter is in a BAND, Elfie? OMG how cool is that? And what planet have I been on? (don't answer that)
Hairy, great, GREAT gig pic!
