Patriots Favored To Beat Jets By 27 Points
LAS VEGAS (AP) ― The Patriots' record-setting pace includes the betting odds, too.
Undefeated New England was made a 27-point favorite over the New York Jets in the opening line for Sunday's game at Foxborough.
The line dropped to 24 yesterday, which would match San Francisco's record point spread over Cincinnati on December 5th, 1993.
That's according to Keith Glantz, co-author of the Glantz-Culver Line.
The 49ers won that game 21-8.
New England is 13-0 after routing Pittsburgh on Sunday, while the Jets are 3-10.
There's much built-up animosity between the teams. Patriots coach Bill Belichick did not want Eric Mangini, then his defensive coordinator, to take the Jets' heading coach job in 2006.
And New England was caught using video to spy on Jets assistant coaches during the season opener in September.

Don't start none...won't be none.
I'll be keepin' it real too.....
when I get my blue Manning jersey and Colts hat....
The wife tried to get the Colts "TWO-TIME SB CHAMPS" hat for me, and
NFLShop.com is SOLD OUT.
Don't waste your time if you're looking for it, unless you can get one locally.
Wound up getting the Colts "Who Wants It More?" hat.
My ol' lady ROCKS. Think I'll keep her.

In Yahoo, I won my last 7 of 9 to finish second.
Won the first round easily to get to the title game next week.
Playing the #4 seed, and am a heavy favorite to win it.
My 5th year in that league, 1st title game.
In my ESPN league I was 2nd at 9-3
but won the 1st round last night
(two week matchup)
when the Bears kicker booted the 1st FG.
I have Brady and Welker and they cost me the second week.
Almost blew a big lead after the 1st week.
Playing the #1 seed in ESPN, whom I beat 4 weeks ago.
Two week matchup, but with Brady playing Miami and the G-men
I should do okay.
