GUITAR CENTER SUCKS A$$!!!!
I went there on Sunday to finally buy my SKB hard cases.
They only had the snare case which was almost $100.00 with tax, no big whoop. I also paid for the other cases then. They told me Tacoma had the fusion size kit cases which is what I was looking to buy in the first place. They told me Tacoma would UPS (oh the magic word here) them to me in 2 days. Now I knew that meant ship Monday, get them yesterday.......................... not the case.
I need them for an out of town gig this weekend.
So I call Tacoma guitar center, they have no records of this EVER happening.
So then I call Spokane guitar center, evidently Tacoma never had the cases in the first place. Not for at least 2-3 weeks.
I was standing in front of the sales associate while he was on the phone with the Tacoma store.
SOooooooooooooooooooo, they are now shipping them out of Sacramento Ca.
W T F ! ! ! !
So I get here to work where I left the UPS tracking number, (it's good to work in shipping and receiving), and hunt for the progress of my cases......... Keep in mind I need the cases for this weekend!!!
Schedualed delivery date.......................10/ 15/ 07
I will be calling that bastard Seth at Spokane Guitar Center to give him a ton of shit for this debacle. They should have next day air delivered them, (at no extra cost), because the fugged me in the drive thru as it is!!!!!!

and for future reference, they only keep a COUPLE of SKB (guitar) cases in stock when they go on "sale", so I gotta jump on 'em.
I imagine it's the same for SKB drum cases...
and yes, they do that on PURPOSE. (Once you're in the door, they suck you into their tractor beam....and lift yer wallet right outta your back pocket.) LOL
