So then EVERY MP3 player IS an Ipod?

Ipod Nano is just an MP3 player, or it is an UBER Mp3 player?

Geddit?

Which version of it is best?

Not every MP3 is an iPod. BUT every iPod is an MP3. Different Venn Diagram.

And the different brands have different features and * * prices. Soem MP3s also play video. Some can hold only about 60 songs, some can hold thousands.

You might want to Google MP3 players or MP3 player comparisons like this:

I got a Rio Chiba.
Regular internal memory is like 80 songs.

I have two memory cards, one holds 100 songs
and the other hold 250 or so.
Nowadays the bigger sized memory cards can be found on sale
at Wal Mart at decent prices.

My husband has a 60 gig player, we have so many CD's its not even funny. He listens to stuff i never would myself, so he needed a bigger one. I have a 30 gig, i still have over half of it to fill. I have a few pics (mostly Rush), 2 videos (Dream Theater & 30 seconds to Mars), & of course all Rush, & a lot of other groups/artists in there. I want to put a Rush video or 2 on there as well, just cant figure out how.

So if I was to get one of them, which would be a good one. See I want to get rid of cd's for break music totally. One friend's band has a laptop loaded with 1,000's of songs on a random loop so no one ever hears the same songs on break from one night to the next. With our current set up, we have 5 cd's we use, and I am tired of the same songs. Or even worse, sometimes the cd ends and there is dead time..........not good at all.

They can't be that expensive anymore right???

How hard are they to load up, and how long does it take to load them up?

The answers to those questions all vary so much from barnd to brand. Here's what my very limited experience has to say about it:
The cheap ones seem to turn into a nightmare. Stay away from 'em.
You get what you pay for.
iPod owners are fiercely loyal. After each of my daughters got one, I can see why. Though they're a tap pricey compared to others, they work great (unless you're a cheapskate like me and buy an old used one, then you end up paying for a reapir). iTunes is very easy to use.

My Zune is done by Microsoft, uses wmp & is soooooo easy to sync etc. The picture quality is high def & very nice. So is the sound quality.

My Zen has been great for me and my kids love to snag it from me to use, too. I liked that I can put the text in German to mess with the kids, but the brats are too smart and figured out enough to be able to switch it back to English.

Putting songs in a Zen is easy, just takes time as all song loading will in any MP3.

The only reason I am thinking of getting an iPod is because there are so many neat accessories you can buy to do things like turn it into a Hi-Fi, dock it in your car or home, dress it up so it is personalized for you and doesn't look like everyone else's,...

Here's a link to cnet's MP3 player reviewsand advice:

I didn't even know they made one! LOL

I guess you can search it out online and see if there are any good reviews.
