I JUST SAW THE HUGE FISH IN THAT FIRST PIC!
MY GOODNESS!

I just noticed I use all caps in the first sentence - too lazy to change it.

Nice job. I can't imagine catching a fish that size (I don't fish)
How tough was it to reel him in?

You heard about the one-armed fisherman, right?

He caught a fish THIS BIG!

The 85 pounder that was caught was tough. The man who reeled it in had to take lots of breaks and he was sore for a couple of days.

The halibut I got were not more than 25 pounds and they took some work themselves. My godmother and I both agreed that we would be content with any fish that was large enough to take legally and took the first two we got that were in that range. We were overjoyed we didn't end up with a record fish because we didn't want to have to fight the fish for hours.

Well congrats on your fish catching!
I can't imagine fighting a fish for hours.
I bet he was sore for an 85lb-er.

Thanks!

I would not want to spend hours reeling in a fish, either. *shudders* The halibut I caught only took a mere fraction of that time to pull up.

I did have fun. I even made friends. I now have a place to go if I find myself in Minnesota.

Ah, I can shake a stick at all of them. I just get the stick and shake it while making a 360 degree turn, and viola!
